Telegram provides REST APIs in order to integrate itself into other web applications.
There are 2 kind of APIs – Main API and Bot API.
Bot API is widely used when developing telegram bots but in some cases it is not suitable because Bot API has some restrictions and it’s not permitted to carry out all necessary functionalities.
Main API can be used instead of Bot API in such cases.
